Donna Simone got involved in becoming a CPR instructor while she was managing a fitness center.She wanted to make sure that if one of her customers became ill or injured, she would be able to help them. After many years of certifying people in the fitness field Donna branched out into certifying people within the medical and health field, educational fields, corporations as well as the lay responder and even parents of infants and children.
In 1992, Donna became a certified American Red Cross "Professional Rescuer Instructor". In 2009 she became certified with the American Safety and Health Institute and in 2010 was certified by the American Heart Association. Donna also is a volunteer attendant at the Mohegan Lake Ambulance Corps and in the near future she will become certified as an EMT.
